General Questions

Q: What time does the show open?
A: Gates open to the public from 09:30. The show closes at 17:30.

Q: Will there be a cash point on site?
A: Yes, a cash point can be found in the Tavern Bar as well as in the main exhibitor area.

Q: Are credit cards accepted on the gate?
A: Yes, credit cards can be used on the gate.

Q: Is the event solely for Japanese Cars?
A: Yes – all cars being displayed or going out on track must be Japanese! Visitors can park their cars in the public car park no matter what make or model.

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No animals of any kind are allowed onto the site.

Q: Is there a bar on site?
A: Yes the Tavern Bar will be open throughout the day selling food and alcohol.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?
A: Alcohol is permitted but no glass is allowed on site. Please be aware that normal drink driving rules apply and anyone suspected of drinking alcohol will not be permitted to go on track.

Q: Are there food units on site?
A: There are many food units and a permanent on site cafeteria open throughout the day.

Q: Will there be someone taking photos of the cars for me to purchase on the day?
A: Yes there will be a track photographer – more information will be found in the show guide.

Q: Can we camp at Japfest.
A: No. Unfortunately due to the size of the show camping is not available on site. For details of nearby accommodation visit the Castle Combe Website.

Ticketing Questions:

Q: How can I buy a ticket?
A: Tickets are on sale now. Click here to book online now or call the ticket hotline: +44 (0) 871 230 5577.

Q: Will I be able to buy a ticket on the gate?
A: Yes you can buy tickets on the gate.

Q: My tickets haven’t arrived yet when will I get them?
A: If you have a ticketing issue please call 0871 230 5577 or e-mail events.tickets@futurenet.com

Track Time Questions:

Q: Can I take passengers out on the track with me?
A: Yes – subject to certain restrictions. Passenger tickets can be purchased when you are booking track time at a cost of £10. Only one front seat passenger is permitted per car and they must sign an indemnity form prior to the session. Click here to view full track time terms and conditions. Click here to book now!

Q: Is helmet hire available on the day or do I need to bring my own?
A: We advise you to bring your own British Standard-approved helmet where possible, although Castle Combe has a limited number available for hire (credit card deposit required). Helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers and helmet straps must be securely done up.

Q: Do I need a driving licence to take my car on the track?
A: Yes, you will be required to show your full UK or other EU state driving licence. Both parts in the case of photocard licenses.

Q: My licence is away at the DVLA/Police, can I bring a photocopy?
A: No, a full original driving licence needs to seen be when signing-on.

Q: Is it possible to purchase track time on the day?
A: Demand is high for Japfest track time and it usually sells out in advance, as such we strongly advise that if you want to get out on track you book as soon as possible.

Car Parking Questions

Q: Is there car parking available?
A: Yes, there is a public car park available free of charge.

Q: Is there disabled parking?
A: Yes, there is a disabled parking area. Ask on the gate and the marshals will direct you. Please note: the disabled parking area will not be on hard standing but will be positioned close to the main entrance.

Q: Is there any way that I can park my car in the show rather than in the public car park?
A: Only club cars or those entered into the Power & Style Awards can be displayed in the show.

Club Information

Q: I want to attend with my club display at the show?
A: Please see the dedicated club link.

Q: What time will clubs be allowed access?
A: Club cars will be allowed access from 06.30am providing that you have the relevant tickets and passes.

If you are a member of a club, there is a special club ticket offer: £20 per car which allows entry for the driver and up to 3 passengers. To take advantage of this, please contact your club secretary, or alternatively visit our club section of the website for booking information.

Please note: Any club member without a club vehicle pass will not be allowed access to the event. All public advance ticket holders will park in the public car park.
